Al-Shumus Nursery was established in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman on February 1993. It is unique and premier as one of the foremost Omani Private Nurseries to be owned and run by Highly Qualified Omanis.

The owners and Director are M/s Laila M.S. Al-Lamki, BSC in Sociology and Anthropology. ( Ain Shams University, Cairo ), and M/s Shamsa M.S. Al-Lamki, DipEd, PG DipEd, MED ( Aberdeen University, Scotland ) with vast experience in Training, Administration and Education since 1972.

The vision was to provide the very best quality Early Childhood Care and Education. It is successful because it remains true to its original Vision.

Al-Shumus always puts the child first. We are interested in the whole child. In all vital areas of development - Physical, Social, Emotional and Intellectual. We approach child development as a Holistic process and the child's needs as interrelated.
